David has been working on Radio and Television for over sixty years – a career that has spanned Pirate Radio, BBC TV, Radio 2 and Carlton Television.

The following are various excerpts from his work and spans a wide range of media as well as more recent free-lance work that he has carried out for various advertising campaigns and informational videos.


David worked at the BBC for over 40 years as a continuity announcer, introducing programs throughout the day and late into the night. The following video is an example of a closedown announcement that was carried out regularly just before the BBC went off air for the night.

The following video is an excerpt from a night that the BBC dedicated to the 1970sin 2013. The night was hosted by David, who introduced all of the programs.
